For the first time the SONGLive-Creativ Competition takes places in Brunswick, Germany under the patronage of Heinz Rudolf Kunze (a german singer, author and song writer) and the support of Schimmel.

For 20 years the competition has animated young talents to argue creatively about music compositions and interpretations. This success story of many years prompted the organizer to expand the categories. The category besides the “Singing Songwriter” will be “Song from Film Music and Entertainment.”

Included are soloists and groups, which are not professional musicians. The goal is to energize not only music students but also to engage the new generation of musicians in associations and talented hobby musicians.
