The power of innovation is prevalent at Schimmel: our constructors constantly work on the adaptation of instruments to the highest demands. The best example is the development of our Konzert upright model. This concept initially puzzled the experts, as concerts are normally performed on a grand piano. Outside the concert hall, numerous pianists are forced to practise on an upright instrument. This prompted us to develop the Konzert Piano Line which is orientated towards the tonal and performance characteristics of grand pianos.
